FAQ’s:
Q: Do you just draw dogs?
A: Nope! I’ve drawn dogs, cats, horses, and guinea pigs… so any beloved animal is fair game!
Q: How long does it take?
A: Due to life constraints (ie: life with a toddler), please allow at least 3 weeks, including shipping time, but 4-6 weeks is average. If you need a rush order, please reach out first.
Q: What sizes can you do?
A: I have it set up that you can order standard frame sizes of 6x6, 9x9, 8x10 and 9x12. I do not offer any larger than 9x12 due to shipping constraints, but if you want something unique, please reach out!
Q: How do you ship?
A: I ship via USPS Priority, which in the US is a 3-day guarantee, with tracking and insurance. The cost of shipping is included for US orders.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! But it takes a lot longer and is much more expensive. I ship USPS Priority which does include tracking, but once it reaches the home country it is sometimes a crap-shoot. During the holiday rush, it has taken a month to reach Canada, so take that in to account if you need it by a specific date.
Q: Can you combine reference images?
A: Yes! If there’s not the “perfect” photo to draw from, I can take some artist liberties. “Ears from this photo, face from this photo” kind of requests are fine, but would prefer to have at least one really good face photo to work from.
Q: Do you take highly specific requests?
A: Sure! If you want something more specific than just the pet’s face in the middle of the page, I’m willing to work with you to get your vision realized!
Q: Can I get a sketch to approve before you make it?
A: In most cases, no. If it is a highly specific request, I’ll send a sketch to make sure we’re on the same page.
Q: I want a portrait of my childhood dog, but I only have crappy 1970’s photographs. Would that work?
A: As long as the reference photos are scanned or photographed well, I can make it work!
Q: I don’t think my portrait looks like my dog, can I return it for a refund?
A: I do not accept returns or refund requests.
